After starting the agent, this is the result of the info command:

===================
Collector (v 3.5.0)
===================

Status date: 2013-02-20 16:14:41 (17s ago)
Pid: 8251
Platform: Linux-2.6.32-042stab068.8-i686-with-redhat-5.9-Final
Python Version: 2.4.3
Logs: <stderr>, /var/log/datadog/collector.log, syslog:/dev/log

<redacted>

===================
Dogstatsd (v 3.5.0)
===================

Dogstatsd is not running.

It worked running it directly (python /usr/bin/dogstatsd.py) but not through the init.d script.

This is crashing all redhat/centos 5 dogstatsd instances on 3.5.0. We need to release a hotfix ASAP, at least for datadog-agent-base on RPM.

@LotharSee this may be a known issue but the github crawler stutters here.
