2.0 Upgrade Guide notes

The deprecated environment variable DD_PROPAGATION_STYLE_INJECT has been replaced by DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE_INJECT.

The deprecated environment variable DD_PROPAGATION_STYLE_EXTRACT has been replaced by DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE_EXTRACT.

Motivation:

The new variables have been available for a very long, and align with the rest of Datadog tracers.

Additional Notes:

How to test the change?

For Datadog employees:

  • If this PR touches code that signs or publishes builds or packages, or handles
credentials of any kind, I've requested a review from @DataDog/security-design-and-guidance.
  • This PR doesn't touch any of that.
