I'm a complete noob at this so please bear with me. I am using Linux Mint and getting this error:

I have tried post #6 but it is still not working for me.

Can anyone help?

There was no deadbeef folder in my /opt. I uninstalled and reinstalled deadbeef through the .deb installer and all is working.
