Pundit's StatBook

Pundit's StatBook is a backend application built using Node.js, Express, and HTML/CSS for the front-end. The primary objective of this project was to gain hands-on experience with server-side development using Express.js without relying on client-side frameworks like React.

Features

• League Selection: Users can select their top 5 favorite European football leagues.
• Player Stats: Choose players from a specific team and view detailed statistics rendered with D3.js.

Usage

To use Pundit's StatBook, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository or download the source code.
2. Install the required dependencies using npm install.
3. Start the server with node app.js or npm start.
4. Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:PORT, replacing PORT with the port number specified in the application.
5. Select your top 5 European leagues from the dropdown menu.
6. Choose a team and view player statistics, which will be visualized using D3.js.
