This is probably not commonly used yet, though once this got implemented in Gecko, Rachel Andrew and Miriam Suzanne tried to raise the awareness of there being an inner and an outer display.
So maybe the survey can achieve that goal and push the other implementors to also pick up this feature.

Given that it recently shipped in Safari, and has shipped in Gecko for a while, I think that would be a good one to add.
