Dirry,

Great work, saw:
https://forum.archive.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=62335

My questions:

  1. How can we mod Openwrt to automatically recognize a USB stick and use it as expanded overlay flash and RAM ?
Maybe use zRAM to conserve inbuilt RAM of TP Link Openwrt router?

  2. Is there a way to use USB stick on routers ( like cheap $15 TPLink 841N or better) for dual booting so the Openwrt OS is loaded from USB and the TPlink internal OS is overridden?
What minimum RAM and CPU will a target router need to have?

  3. Advantage is we can run IPTV media server from USB stick even on cheap router and also other packages that can be compiled over USB stick, without worrying about limitations of router OS !

  4. Is there a lighter IPTV media server than VLC available for Openwrt?

Cheers from Toronto
