Label tag, for attribute.

For the label tag, you didn't mention label for attribute incase of the SELECT tag. is that not necessary? or if it is necessary, do I need to mention in my code? if I mention, will it cause any issue?

@smartnava this is a good question - Materialize actually hides the native select element and replaces it with a dropdown and and a text input. So i think in this case, you do not need to use the for attribute, although using it shouldn't have any effect.
