Describe the bug
Brighter areas of nebulae and galaxies are getting detected as stars.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load an image for processing which has bright nebula or galaxy with star field
  2. Configure the parameters to give the star field desired spikes
  3. Note that spikes are rendering on brighter areas of nebulae and galaxies
  4. This bug has no related errors in console

Expected behavior
Star detection should more reliably find stars and reject other bright objects

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS, Win
  • Version: Pre Beta
