• John's Land, Wind and Shade, had pipes that were clogged with oil, and he had to unclog them to let The Breeze flow through them
• Rose's Land, Light and Rain, was composed of Chalk islands that were (supposed to be) seeping into the ocean and poisoning it
• Dave's Land, Heat and Clockwork, was populated by floating Gears that were (supposed to be) clogged with Amber that prevented them from turning
• Jade's Land, Frost and Frogs, was meant to be kind of a Nuclear Fallout type deal, with the snow being irradiated and slowly killing all the frogs trapped inside

You should be able to walk in one direction on your Realm for 3 hours to end up back where you started. That sounds reasonable to me. Same with Derse and Prospit, or whatever the equivalent will be. Earth would take 30 days. Midboard would take about 1 day? the Dream Moons would only take about an hour.
