ChatEmote converts emoticons typed in any chat channel to Emotes.
Synonym emoticons can be linked, for example :) and :-) both to /smile.

• Commands: /chatemote or /cemo
  • /cemo list
    lists all emotes (in batches of 10s)
  • /cemo link emoticon EMOTE
    links emoticon with EMOTE
    example: /cemo link o_O CONFUSED
  • /cemo unlink EMOTE
    removes any emoticons linked to EMOTE
    example: /cemo unlink CONFUSED
  • /cemo toggle
    disables or enables the addon for this session

After linking a few emoticons to EMOTES (by default the addon has a :) => /smile and :( => /cry link)
Just open any chat and type an emoticon, your character will perform the linked emote.
