Dragging from desktop grid can have inconsistent visuals

• Dragging multiple items while set the initial drag point based on where the multi-selection region tool began to pick icons, instead of the current mouse position
• 2nd drag has drag image from initial element position always, not updated on subsequent drags

Hi @mohiwalla, thanks for wanting to look into the issue. I don't typically assign Issues in general, but you are free to look into it and if you find a solution you can create a PR or we can discuss it here. The only remaining issues I know of are the 2 listed in the comments, and they have been tricky over time.
