Allow underscore in search IDs

wbbt_0005829 vs wbbt:0005829 for example: the former doesn't return anything though it is the form used in the IRI

This works but is case sensitive e.g. try WBbt_0005829. Would you expect go_0098743 to return a result?

I'm not a big fan of case sensitive search indeed, even more so as in this case the colon version doesn't care about the case but the underscore one does.

re go_0098743: I wouldn't see an issue with that returning a result either. What do you think?

It's only ids that are case sensitive at the moment, but I can easily change that. I had a quick poke around in AmiGO and QuickGO and neither seem to support go_0098743

interesting - I don't know about amigo, but IIRC we asked the new quickgo be case insensitive - I'll check.
