It's been a while since I've scanned pypi for new versions of modules.
It's also been a while since I checked to see which packages that get installed are actually being used.
I'm not sure if we really need to be installing pip anywhere but in the installer image, yet I'm fairly sure it's installed on the Docker host too. That's the kind of stuff to investigate.
