It seems that if a card is placed on another card that has not been moved since being created, you lose the ability to remove the card from the stack without further issues.

New React/Redux framework for handling UI interactions and state management has rendered this issue a wontfix because it no longer occurs in Synectic. Basically, this bug is obsolete.
