It would be nice if users can remove ssl from their site. There are many valid use cases i.e. when SSL certificate gets expired, and for some reason you might not be able to upgrade it, it's best if atleast there's some option for disabling SSL.

There are many threads like this in community - https://community.easyengine.io/t/delete-ssl-disable-ssl/12780, and users have to manually find hacks around it, so it's best if we could allow this in EE itself.

This would be amazing it was there in v3, don't know why it didn't make it's rounds to v4.

Is there any possibility to do it manually? I've removed all certificates under /var/lib/docker/volumes/global-nginx-proxy_certs/_data but it doesn't help. After removing all certs the command "ee site ssl-renew" still fails.

I have tried all the hacks mentioned in many forums in trying to remove an SSL in easyengine with no success. Will this issue be resolved anytime soon?

Any update on this issue?

This has been going on for far too long. I have trouble with wildcard certs and as soon as one missed the deadline to renew, one is screwed and has to go through a bunch of hacks. Also, while at it, please also add the option to finally migrate wildcard to regular certs. Thank you!

I have tried all possible hacks and still haven't been able to fix it. I even deleted the site and recreated it and still can't add a new SSL or renew the current one.

Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this?
