@meKokabi Hi Mehrnaz -- we have draft versions of the IoT & Edge Days landing page and CFP page so you can see the content. @annejacko @linkfang I reviewed the pages; this is a good start! I would tweak the last sentence on the landing page. It currently reads:

The rationale is that those are the actual names of the WGs. Only IoT has "Eclipse" in the name. Thanks to both for your support! |

@linkfang Can you please make one update on the Call for Proposals page? Under the section "How to Submit Your Proposal," please update the text in the second bullet item to remove the extra hyphen after the word "for." Currently this is the text: "Panel Discussion: two or more speakers, 60 minutes (50 minutes presenting, 10 minutes for questions) - great for - demonstrating a product, presenting slides, or discussing a hypothesis" and it should read "Panel Discussion: two or more speakers, 60 minutes (50 minutes presenting, 10 minutes for questions) - great for demonstrating a product, presenting slides, or discussing a hypothesis" Thanks. |

I think the new Jumbotron image will work well for the landing page. @fdesbiens and @hassanjaber98 if you are OK with it, then let's ask @linkfang to update the staging site -- both the landing page and the CFP page -- with the new banner, text colors, etc. Thanks @meKokabi ! |

@hassanjaber98 Note that we currently have a phrase that is repeated on the home page "...hosted jointly by the Eclipse IoT, Edge Native, and Sparkplug working groups at the Eclipse Foundation." WDYT of creating a section with the head "Hosted by" followed by the sentence "IoT & Edge Days 2022 is hosted by the Eclipse IoT, Edge Native, and Sparkplug working groups at the Eclipse Foundation." and then the logos below. This would be the last section on the page, and as more content is added, it will be further down. We would leave the content of the Call for Papers section as is (including the repetitive phrase), since it will be updated later. |

Hi @meKokabi , as the height of jumbotron area is much shorter on /call-for -proposals page, so we can hardly avoid cutting the image when we make it fill up the width of the jumbotron area. And because of that, the solution would be not making the image fill up the width of the browser window. But then we could see the edge of the image which doesn't look good, like so: So, to make this look better, can you please add an inside shadow on the image? Like this kind of effect: With that being added, I think it would look much better on this page. |

We are planning a two-day virtual event on May 24 - 25, 2022. We would like to have an initial version of the website live by March 8, 2022. In addition to an initial landing page, we would also like to have an additional sub-page with more information about the Call for Proposals.
