Material Components for Android is (currently) a Java-only library.

API suggestions

  • AlertDialog extensions
    • DSL to create/show an AlertDialog using a MaterialAlertDialogBuilder
    • Method to set all/individual background insets
  • Date/time-picker extensions
    • Top-level method to create a date/time-picker dialog
    • Methods allowing for java.time.* equivalents to be used
