As a researcher, having more frequent releases on PyPI would greatly aid in referencing specific versions for reproducibility.
Currently, some bug fixes are only available in the main branch, making it necessary to reference specific commits. This can complicate reproducing results due to unclear changes between versions.

We'll try to get back on track for more frequent PyPI releases. Likely will see about cutting a new version release once #1873 lands and has settled a bit!
