Guide - Single Channel Programs List View #1
Comments
Yes, I just haven't had the time for this. |
Yes, I've just taken the existing functionality and transformed it into that view. I see it the same, that it's not that much useful. A button list (without images) like WMC is the goal. |
That looks like it would be nice to have but I don;t see it in .53. Has it been chucked out ? |
I have neither chucked out nor chucked in something.. |
Oh right, need to scroll over to Programmes. Oops... |
Any idea when this can be done? To decide what to record, WMC was incredibly good at looking at a specific channel in the Guide and easily (because of table layout) looking / scrolling down the table at time ordered programmes for each day. In this respect, WMC was far better than even the other Emby apps as data was crystal clear in it's layout. When looking at the details for a programme in the table too, if you press BACK on the remote for example, it should go back to the last view of the table and not reset the view to the top of the table again (standard Emby apps used to do this until it was fixed). I'm not sure you current UI is going to be accommodating enough, so you may have to do what MS WMC does and not have it in the pop-up dialogue. |
You're right, this is important. I'll get this done shortly. |
In Microsoft Media Center, when you click a TV channel logo/name in the guide, it shows a screen with a table view of that channel's programming in a scrollable table to the end of the data it has it in the guide for a number of days.
Is this coming? It was useful in WMC for planning record schedule ahead.
I think you have done this differently by having to navigate to , but the spacing is all odd:

It is easier to use if it just put the programme names without the description?
Also it is not easy at all to see each day and date as just looks like one big long list of programmes.
