Maybe also provide some docs on the mock binding's object's options.

sorry, to many open here. I'll close 1211 than.
However still hoping for it and wondering if another solution is there when beeing just on a notebook with no device attached...

Let me know if #1222 explains things. I added an example and made the mock bindings easier to require.
