Comments for Importing Data with RailsAdmin #544
Comments
Hello Steph, how are you? I have an application that needs to be done to import data, I'm following your tutorial but without success. I put the video link below as explanation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AKY5678Cbo I thank the attention |
Hi Claudio, First off, this video is a bit hard to fully comprehend b/c the resolution is not great and I am not a native speaker of whatever language is being used by the app. I gathered the following: The import action was never being recognized by RailsAdmin, and the debug log reported an undefined method. That being said, I've updated this article to note that this applied to the RailsAdmin action implementation in January of 2012, but since then, action implementation and support has changed significantly. There is better and current documentation for development custom actions in RailsAdmin here. Another source of help would be to examine the RailsAdmin core actions to see how they are implemented. On our blog, we have a couple more recent articles related to RailsAdmin actions as well, but your best bet is to read through the official current documentation. Hope this helps, Steph |
Yellow! Im getting this error after implemented your code to import. undefined method `breadcrumb_parent' for nil:NilClass It appears everytime i click on import any model. I searched online but nothing so far. Have you happened to encounter something similar? PS: the gem version is 0.1.8 |
