make GIMPS (Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search) available for Gridcoin rewarding

From what I see quickly, they:

• are active since 1996
• Mersenne Research, Inc., a non-profit corporation charitably
  • see legal
• have stats:
  • overall user stats (top500)
  • team stats

It has to be investigated more...

• e.g. update frequency, server load, ...
• e.g. also if a new BOINC project could be made with a wrapper?
• ...

Definitely a good thing when "something else" besides BOINC is added to Gridcoin

@Erkan-Yilmaz I think that Folding@Home should be included as well, as it is one of the largest DC projects in existence, has a similar coin for F@H, and the coin, Curecoin, could be viewed as a competitor to Gridcoin.

Would it be a possibility to include the GIMPS and Folding@Home clients in BOINC? Or is that inefficiently difficult? (I'm not suggesting the other way around simply because of GIMPS's unattrative layout, I don't know about Folding@Home layout.)
