a balanced shuffle for tv shows to prevent shows with more episodes dominating the schedule and shows with less episodes hardly playing at all

A way to balance the chance of a show being picked would be lovely

I think this can now be achieved with Fill With Group Mode added with #1534 - every show (group) within a collection will be played for the same time (duration) or number of items (multiple), which effectively balances the schedule.

..also for fillers will be great!, so they will be less grouped...perhaps a simple 1 from each collection even if shorter colections gets repeated ....

"Fill With Group Mode" doesn't work with "Shuffle In Order". Get warning: Unable to build playout 26: Unexpected error building playout for channel: Sequence contains no elements.

This is correct since Fill with Group Mode shouldn't work with Shuffle in that it airs the shorter shows more times than long shows, so it won't be a shuttle anymore. Probably should not allow this Fill with Group Mode with Shuffle and Shuffle In Order.
