Unfused riser tap #6
Comments
@jalsup will provide a whiteboard drawing |
Here is what we sketched, related to |
@jalsup does that sum up what we discussed? |
This is completely valid and very common. In the south east we typically place a fuse and arrester. Out West, maybe just a fuse, but in all locations, the fuse is only used if there are many pieces of equipment served by this line. This would be a case where one transformer is connected to the underground line. I will find some examples for you in PNM's data. Also, we want to start with a simple case that clearly shows the need for the multiple taps and offsetting the underground line from the overhead (not spatially coincident) with out the detraction of other equipment. |
@jalsup am I getting the attachment pattern right? That there are attachment associations from the attachment junction to the pole and the line fuse assembly to the pole? |
get ride of the fuses or save them for another drawing. This needs to not have the fuses. |
in this case, there is no assembly. |
Focus this effort on the unfused Riser tap. In the same folder(Riser Tap), we can add the other variations, will create issues for them |
In discussion what to do with Risers, we need to sketch up.
We are currently discussing removing the riser junction. This would info would be moved to an attribute on a pole.
