There's a piece of code at FafServerAccessorImpl that goes like this:
for (Class<?> type : ClassUtils.getAllInterfacesForClassAsSet(messageClass)) { messageListeners.getOrDefault(messageClass, Collections.emptyList()) .forEach(consumer -> consumer.accept(serverMessage)); }
The preceding loop sets messageClass to Object, so it seems to be a no-op.
