White indicates that the downloaded version is current. Orange - is outdated.
The version number is not shown if it has not been downloaded.
FAF, FAFBeta, FAFDevelop is always shown.
Clicking on the version text opens the Github branch.

The most important thing is to see if you need to update.
Can replace the Git version with a date.

I'm sure it will be useful and not too difficult.
People will know when something has been updated and that something is happening at all.
Since patches take a long time to download, can postpone the game and not get into trouble.
They will also learn that there is a FAFBeta and FAFDevelop.

Preferably the same for mods.

Continuously polling all potential file versions of all featured mods is not acceptable from server performance.
Cache the state of the featured mods.

Stop closing it.

U need to understand that issue are also I way of organizing what to do. And if I leave all issue open I end up with a thousand issue. Which is no help at all. So I got to close issue that I see no sense in doing.

184 issues since 2015. No one will look at a closed issue, much less do it.
Start recruiting a dev on zulip then
To do this, there is "Issues"
