fedora-deepin #53

没必要跪舔 deepin 单独成立这样的项目。 但是打包是可以的,只要不违反分发原则。 |
Close this as per reply#1. |
this sounds a lot like fedora-meego or any other kind of port. The idea is nice, but what is more important is having a community behind it that can maintain and support such a thing long-term. |
I finished package the Deepin Desktop Environment for Fedora on Deepin Copr. Welcome to test them. 💯 @cicku @sztsian Yes, Deepin is a young distro. It relies mainly on government orders. You know, China is building open, independent, controllable operating system, not use Microsoft. I do not know how much of this is true. :))))) @gbraad deepin forum: bbs.deepin.org/forum.php?tid=134393 |
I don't mind you pack these packages. But be wisely when choosing names. Better follow the Fedora packaging guideline for names, in case of unexpected legal issue with the trademark Deepin |
@cicku I see your deepin's package request on bugzilla. I also want to do same things. Let's get together. 💯 |
OK. Are there any frequent updates from deepin recently? |
The git commit every day, but no version of the release. Please see developer planning. @cicku |
Hi, @rdieter, @ngothan So, can you add these private header files to |
sure, i will add it in next qt5-base rebuild in fedora |
@cicku The qt5integration needs libqtxdg 3.x.x version of the package. Because the XdgIcon::followColorScheme is only available in 3.0.0. Please update it. Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1520064 |

Hi @ALL I want to help in testing the current version of Deepin. Are there issues to contribute on it and to help in developing? Btw I use Fedora 29. Regards Andi |
Hi Andy, We are approaching a testable status now. I would suggest you to try Deepin Desktop in a virtual machine running Fedora Rawhide and reporting bugs to bugzilla.redhat.com. Of course your fixes to bugs are also welcome. The SPEC file is now moved to a stand alone repo. You can also refer to the issue for testing here We are planning to request for a specific mailing list later on, so stay tuned. Thanks. |
Since we have a specific repo for deepin desktop now, I'm closing this ticket. All follow-ups please go to https://github.com/FZUG/deepin-desktop And if you found any bugs for the packages that are in Fedora already, please eport a bug in bugzilla.redhat.com. |
Spec files of deepin-desktop now moved to https://github.com/FZUG/deepin-desktop
See FZUG/deepin-desktop#1 if you want to try now.
