I really like this plugin. Any chance for an update to elgg 3.0?

Actually, it exists but is not fully finished/tested, and not published yet.
I usually release major plugins when it has been funded by one paid project, which enables me to spend a little more time on testing and packaging it here. Note most upgraded plugins are available in my main repo (ESOPE), in the corresponding branch (versions follow Elgg core versions), in mod folder, before i take the time to package them as individual plugins.
We can discuss speeping up the process if you are really interested. Otherwise, i cannot provide any due date yet, as i'm currently really busy on another Elgg-related projects which does not involve that plugin.
