So, de4py doesn't work on linux. It would be very cool if there would be support.

well, we are not sure yet if we are gonna release a version for linux as the tool is mainly designed for windows, and that's because some important features of the program (including some important features that we didn't release yet) is mainly designed for windows and it will be a lot of work to rewrite the tool for linux, because the most important module of this tool (pyshell) is designed especially for windows, so for your question "will we release a linux version?" the answer is "probably not" but that may change with time.
