Could someone please update the repository in Mint with the newest version of adwaita-qt? I'd really appreciate it.

Hi, I do packages only for Fedora and I'm afraid the packagers from Mint will not see your request here. You will have to open a bug for Mint specifically, not here in adwaita-qt repository.
