There is unnecessary white space below the form, which could be removed, the form also could also be scaled larger.
The generic button and unstyled links present an unfinished design, which is not user-friendly.
Registered users, after logging in (hopefully with Facebook), should be taken straight to the two key functionalities that very likely are the reason for using FinalsClub. More often than not, because students are busy or procrastinating, they need to rush into class and open (a) collaborative note-taking functionality within a matter of seconds; often they will also need (b) an integrated system with all organized class documents (to reference) nearby as they take notes. This suggests a few changes to the note-taking interface:
The bright-green highlighted and bulleted validation message is unnecessary.
The formatting, similar to the front-page, should be redone.
After logging in, a user should be redirected to a ‘home page’ for easy access, not to the home page which requires further navigation.
A user should be able to more easily access the courses that he/she is taking.
