Google-haun perusteella "maailmanmestaruuskilpailut" tosiaan yleisempi kuin "maailmanmestaruuskisat", vaikka oma mutu on, että -kisat on käytetympi. Jos vaihdetaan, varmaan ojaustermi -kisoista. Itse en välttämättä näe tarvetta muutokselle.

Muutetaan maailmanmestaruuskisat käytettävä termi muotoon maailmanmestaruuskilpailut. Sama muutos käsitteille Suomen mestaruuskisat ja Euroopan mestaruuskisat.
