This is a project I've made in a couple of afternoons way back in the day.
Switching from OpenVR to OpenXR wouldn't be such a big problem, though due to the abovementioned reason it would be best to update the structure of the plugin to fit modern flax requirements.
Also iirc flax is currently missing support for single-pass stereo which is almost a must have for properly working system.
I'm extremely busy with my day job right now, but I'll see if I can do something about updating the plugin sometime next month hopefully.

With Unity's recent shitfest I'm sure lots of people in the VR space are looking to swap engines.
I gave Flax a try today and it feels quite nice to use, but I mainly work in VR/XR and that kind of rules out Flax for now...
Any chance this repo could get updated to support OpenXR instead?
It'd open up the possibility of building to standalone Android VR systems too like the Quest 2/3, Pico 4 and Vive XR Elite.
No idea how monumental of a task that is, I'm not a good enough programmer to have a grip on such things at the moment, haha.
