Should have a mailing list to let fans know about new blog posts / news / events and offers.
Building a list takes time. There should be a widget in the blog section and perhaps on the homepage.

Might for for Mail Chimp, it's one of the most popular options, but will look into alternatives as well http://mailchimp.com

Also learning more about mail lists overall.
