Oh jeez. I think that's an issue with the styling in core, to be honest... the SplitDropdown component used is from core.
Not sure when I'll have time to look into it.

I think this will take some time to resolve and cannot be resolved immediately. The drop-down menu is limited to the outer div, it may need to be displayed in another way. . .
