  1. PayPal is proprietary and PayPal shares the data collected from customers with over 600 other companies.
  2. Patreon is also proprietary and privacy-invasive
  3. Open Collective is open source, transparent, private and designed for FLOSS projects

Just read the title.

馃搻 Describe alternatives you've considered

Liberapay is open source however it only offers Stripe and PayPal as a payout method so you have to have a PayPal or Stripe account which conflicts the goal.
You can add both of them as two donation options.
