You can't drop weapons in gungame iirc. You think the drop comes when leveling up and having a weapon switch ? |
When players die, they still drop their guns and I don't know if they despawn. Not sure if this could impact performance though? |
it was a guess. based on the fact that the problems got worse gradually during the game. |
Ok we tested it and it seems to happen only in Gun Game. I'll investigate the issue. |
well, it seems that it does NOT only happen in gungame. we just played a few rounds of CTF on different maps and had the issue as well. (uptown, abbey) Same as before, at the beginning of a round everything is fine, but at some point the fps drops start to kick in. I'm gonna guess again and assume that this is why one does not notice the problem in TS, as it "restarts" the map on every round. |
Is there any chance of adding GPU rendering like 27 did on the bumpy client? |

While playing on the Gungame testserver i had really bad fps drops. 126 constant to 30 and even lower.
I am pretty sure this is related to gungame, rather than the map or anything else, as i had no problems on the SV server and they both run turnpike. (i also wasnt the only one with FPS drops)
Also, the problem is only persistent in the outdoor areas, while indoor runs totally fine.
Additionally, on the start of a new round, everything is fine, getting worse more or less gradually.
If i had to guess, it might be related to the dropped guns.
