Replying to join message causes IRC side see "[<reply to image>]" and the message otherwise appears weird

When someone joins group and someone replies to message, the reply appears to be reply to image on IRC.

yes it is weird, The generic message was more a quick fix for someone else's pr. If i have some time I'll try and address it and make it more meaningful
