Privacy Policy

The use of this application ("Bot") in a server requires the collection of some specific user data ("Data"). The Data collected includes, but is not limited to Discord user ID values. Use of the Bot is considered an agreement to the terms of this Policy.

Access to Data

Access to Data is only permitted to Bot's developers, and only in the scope required for the development, testing, and implementation of features for Bot. Data is not sold, provided to, or shared with any third party, except where required by law or a Terms of Service agreement. You can view the data upon request from @micfun123.

Storage of Data

Data is stored in a SQL and Json database. The database is secured to prevent external access, however no guarantee is provided and the Bot owners assume no liability for the unintentional or malicious breach of Data. In the event of an unauthorised Data access, users will be notified through the Discord client application. The developer team takes no responsibility for this data being lost or stolen.

User Rights

At any time, you have the right to request to view the Data pertaining to your Discord account by making a ticket and speaking to the development team. You have the right to request the removal of relevant Data. You may submit a request through the official discord server. (You agree that this action can take up to 30 days to be completed.)

Underage Users

The use of the Bot is not permitted for minors under the age of 13, or under the age of legal consent for their country. This is in compliance with the Discord Terms of Service. No information will be knowingly stored from an underage user. If it is found out that a user is underage we will take all necessary action to delete the stored data.

Simplex Bot - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Simplex bot ("the Bot") provided by Simplex development team and Michael Parker ("we," "us," or "our") on the Discord platform. By using the Bot, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Bot.

1. Use of the Bot:

  • The Bot is designed to assist with administrative tasks within Discord servers where it is added. It provides functionalities such as moderation, management, and other administrative tasks.

2. Compliance with Discord's Terms of Service:

  • You acknowledge and agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The Bot operates within the Discord platform, and as such, users of the Bot must adhere to Discord's rules and policies.

3. Limitation of Liability:

  • The Bot is provided "as is" and we make no warranties or guarantees of its performance or reliability. We shall not be held responsible for any damages, losses, or issues arising from the use or inability to use the Bot.

4. User Responsibilities:

  • You are solely responsible for the use of the Bot within your Discord server. This includes, but is not limited to, managing permissions, configuring settings, and overseeing the actions performed by the Bot.

5. Prohibited Activities:

  • You agree not to use the Bot for any unlawful, malicious, or unauthorized purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, spamming, harassment, distribution of malicious content, or any activity that violates Discord's Terms of Service.

6. Modification or Termination:

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Bot's services at any time for any reason without prior notice. We also reserve the right to terminate access to the Bot for any user who violates these Terms or engages in inappropriate conduct.

7. Updates and Changes:

  • We may update or modify these Terms at any time, and the continued use of the Bot after any changes constitute acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

8. Governing Law:

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
