Marketing_strategy

Decision Trees are great for interpretibility and to make quick decisions. Here I've tried to make a Marketing strategy for bank using dataset available on UCI machine learning repository http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/datasets/Bank+Marketing.

The data is also available on kaggle is related with direct marketing campaigns of a Portuguese banking institution. The marketing campaigns were based on phone calls. Often, more than one contact to the same client was required, in order to access if the product (bank term deposit) would be (or not) subscribed.

Number of Instances: 45211
Number of Attributes: 16 + output attribute.

The classification task is to predict if the client will subscribe a term deposit (variable y).
