Just a very brief note here that on a mac that had been left switched on for at least 2 weeks, the time between ntp updates seemed to have allowed the clock to drift sufficiently that granting permissions resulted in an error that the system clock was set in the future.

Due to the browser integration I wasn't able to enter the resultant key manually after a suitable delay, and so had to fiddle with the system clock, turn off ntp, set time manually (which resulted in getting me disconnected from my remote support app momentarily) to get it working.

Apologies that it's not fully formed, and I didn't get all the required info, I'm just noting it here in case it helps someone or could inform development.

Yeah, with all communication over TLS, correct time is vital.
This is a big problem where some organisations have internal time sync servers, which aren't at all correct and in sync with reality.,
