Because the variables released vary slightly across cohorts/data releases, testing should be done for each data release, if possible.

This will increase the run time of the tests, so may want to consider conditionally running them at certain checkpoints, rather than each time tests are run.

2/14/2023:

  • Add tests that variable release_version is as expected for each release
  • Replicate tests for each release - map over each release, maybe in groups by what data is available (i.e., tumor marker data curated, radiation data curated, etc.)
  • Lower priority: tests for create_analytic_cohort() for each release

Decision: Make tests for CRC public release, then push to CRAN. Then over next month work on additional tests.
