[2.1] Absent progress dialogue when uploading an image using templates

Hi,
if I upload any image using a template, when I select the file, GUI does not inform a user that the upload is happening - no dialog window or any alert in the console. However, the image is still being uploaded (checked this by logging into my remote server and saw a temporary file with increasing size).

Hi @dmfigol ,
Thank you for reporting this. We've already fixed it (Ref. #2284) and final version hopefully will not contain this bug.
