Describe the bug
I am using GUI on Windows and remote server on Linux (as a main remote one) - as described here #3543.

While attempting to initiate a capture on a wire, I encountered an error, as shown on the screen below.

Wireshark error

GNS3 version and operating system (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 10 / Ubuntu 20.04
  • GNS3 version 2.2.44.1

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start GUI and disable the local server.
  2. Start remote server.
  3. Setup remote server as a main server.
  4. Start the project.
  5. Start nodes.
  6. Enable capture and run Wireshark.
  7. See an error.

Do you have the same issue if you just try to capture between 2 VPCS devices?
