Exit Message Bug Fixes

We've removed a dependency on our subgraph and simplified the exit message flow. Users can easily select a stored validator from the app or upload their own keystore file. We also link to the validator on BeaconChain once we have the data to generate the link.

No more file handling

Instead of handling the stakeInfo.json and stakeRequest.json files during the staking process, user will now only need a 4-letter code to fetch and upload the data related to their attempted stake.

Historical Data

Users now have access to another view that contains

• Saved Mnemonics and Validator Keys
• Recent Activity

This gives users a convenient way to access this critical information without having to store the related files and keep track of them. You should of course still always write down your mnemonic whenever you generate a new one in case something happens to the machine onto which the EtherFi Desktop Application is installed.

How to run the app:

MacOS (This app works on MacOS Version 11+):

Download etherfi-desktopv1.0.0-beta-mac.zip
Unzip the file
Open the app

Windows:

Download etherfi-desktop-v1.0.0-beta-win.zip
Unzip the file using 7-Zip
Go into the unzipped folder.
Run etherfi-desktop

Linux (Ubuntu):

Download etherfi-desktop-v1.0.0-beta-linux.zip
Extract the archive
Go into the unzipped folder.
Run etherfi-desktop application
