Link Map stuck on pending after browser start

I had to use a backup of my system and now, Link Map is stuck on pending after the browser is started. This happens on Google Chrome as well as on Brave (I replaced Tabs Outliner with Link Map on both some months ago).

Atm, I am checking the files used by Link Map to see whether there is any corruption and where it could be but it is time consuming and a pita, especially considering that I had automatic backups in text form with Tabs Outliner and in moments like this, I wonder if I should not have stuck with that.
If it makes any difference, this is the Pro version.

This is on a MacPro5,1 on Mojave.

Sofar, I have tried the following:

1. reinstall from scratch...that works but I absolutely must have my links and this way I won't have them.
2. copied all the files from the copies I made during the last days in preparation for something else: this does not work
3. copied all the files from the very last certified good backup: no change

The longest I have waited so far is 1+ hrs to see whether it recovers but no luck.
Attached you'll find a copy of the.3 directories that make up the data for the extension plus the logs so you have the data that causes the "pending" problem. Let me know if you need more information.
