For example

testdata <- data.frame(y1=rnorm(100),x1 = rnorm(100))

smod2.g <- sarima( y1 ~   0 | ar(1) | x1,
                 data=testdata
                 )

gives the error:

Error in uniKalmanLikelihood0b(y, mod, nit, FALSE, update) : 
  as_scalar(): incompatible dimensions
