Hy,

I installed the base-package, however most functionality seem not to be working, or at least work only partiality. If I ctrl+click "false" or "array_key_exists" I'm redirect to the source code. In some of my projects functions also. But not on variables and on some functions (I can't tell which).
I get no error messages on the console.
Debug is also not working.

My project has several folders (could that be an issue?).

I have trouble looking for closed issues, since there is no express message to look for.

So maybe the first step would be to explain how to get more information?

Here is my setup:

PHP 7.1
php-sqlite3 (php module)
php-mbstring (php module)
openssl
project-manager (atom package)
php-integrator-base (atom package)

I'm using ubuntu 16.04.

Hello.

Do these functions, that you can't ctrl + click in order to navigate to their definition, also show linter errors that they are not found? In that case this may be related to #314.

As far as local variables go: code navigation isn't currently implemented for them - it is possible and desirable to implement it in the core at some point, but it hasn't been done yet. However, what should be working for code navigation:

  • Classlike (classes, traits, interfaces) names
  • Class members (methods, properties and constants)
  • Global constants
  • Global functions
  • Use statements

If, for any of these items, the definition isn't found for some reason - i.e. they really don't exist, their file contained errors or something else went wrong during indexing -, navigation likely also won't work.

Closing this due to its age and staleness. Feel free to open a new issue if this still occurs.
