Bug description

Started Publii for the first time after downloading and installing (*.deb) today.

The window is larger than the display at full HD (1920x1080).
After entering the basic data for the 1st website, on the next screen not all elements are fully visible. The hamburger menu/3 dots on the right are out of the display area, as well as the buttons at the bottom of the screen. Still, there are no scroll bars.

This is annoying and hindering for obvious reasons:
Looking at the elements displayed there is by far enough space on screen to display everything.
Just the way things are designed, with a lot of unused space, not everything fits.

Also, because there are no scrollbars, access to the hidden parts requires fumbling around with the ALT key while moving the window around to see parts hidden beyond the display borders.

I suggest:

  • make sure the application window is not larger than the display
  • make sure that everything fits horizontally for all sensible screen resolutions
  • provide scroll bars if the content of the window doesn't fit vertically
