There might be problem with licensing, as version 2 is not free for commercial use (CC non-commercial) and most websites using GetSimple are used for commercial purposes. It would be best if we stick to free licenses only.

I also noticed this, and I agree its not wise to use it.

yeah agreed, we should remove it and revert to the older (free) version.
Were only using it internally to view images on the images control panel.

I guess we need to make sure, there are some options available in 2 that are not in 1.
